Outreach Activities: Phoenix, AZ

(09-11-07) - HHS Secretary Leavitt visits Basha's Supermarket outside of Phoenix, where he along with HHS Deputy Secretary Troy and FDA Commissioner von Eschenbach toured the Seafood section (seafood imported from Russia, Thailand, and Vietnam). On the tour, they learned about the procedures Basha's follows to ensure the safety and quality of imported food.
