Outreach Activities: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

(08-01-07) - Secretary Mike Leavitt tour the distribution center for Associated Grocers of Baton Rouge (AGBR)  and visit Matherne’s Supermarket. Imported products distributed by AGBR include bananas from Guatemala; mangoes from Mexico; pineapple from Costa Rica; apples and kiwi from Chile; turkey wings from Canada, tilapia, salmon, and crawfish tails from China; striped pangasius and snapper from Vietnam; and tuna and snapper from Indonesia.
